It’s Wednesday, how’s your week going so far? Do you know what’s for dinner tonight? Wait…let’s make a checklist! Because those are fun. (sarcasm)

  1. Pick kids up. #3 has optional vball practice, find out if she stayed

  2. What’s for dinner?

  3. Pay the electric bill before power gets shut off tomorrow.

  4. Balance checking to see if there’s enough money for McDs and electric bill.

  5. Order brownies for the bake sale. Oh and order fancy tin to put them in so it looks like I made them!

  6. Hide Amazon boxes from the hubs.

  7. Have kids dig through clean laundry pile and find clothes for tomorrow.

  8. Pick up cat from the vet BEFORE 4

  9. Grab parts from John Deere store

  10. Write in planner. Find planner first.

Can you feel the anxiety and total chaos? I could have written 20 more things that most women do in a typical day and still not have covered everything. Walmart run. Return overdue books. Take forgotten Chromebook to school.

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).

God has told us over 100 times in His Word not to be afraid. He tells us not to fear because He is in control. He is our refuge and strength.
